For this master bathroom project, our clients came to us ready to do a full gut renovation of their outdated bathroom. Our client opted out of using a designer, so Coda helped with the project from start to finish, working with the client on layout, material and plumbing selections, all the way through the building process.
A few key features that they wanted to include in this project were:
- Additional storage to keep their countertop clean. We achieved this by:
- Adding a countertop to ceiling cabinet to keep everything behind closed doors
- Creating a niche in the shower (not shown) to hold shower products
- Create a more spa-like environment within the bathroom. A few key features we included to create this feeling were:
- Adding a steam shower and hiding the unit in an adjacent closet
- Creating a large marble tub deck that extended into the shower to create a bench with a clean and seamless look.
- Adding a Toto Washlet toilet that includes a heated seat and built-in bidet
- Expanding the shower by eliminating a dysfunctional storage space in the back of the bathroom.
